What do those 2 shriekers give you at the end? a little bit experience and they are pain to kill as they are pretty darn strong on top of it, the room itself without them still gives you experience. Which basically dwarfs anything at act 1. You get a random piece of epic armor that can be as strong as 50 defense and 20 magic defense, with 1 in, 1 random stat, 2 necromancer. You get dallis hammer = 2 int, 2 str, 2 necromancer stats good for every class as starting = masssive level advantage at the start as level 4 is a big turning point damage wise.
If you leave at level 2 from boat, dropping deathfog barrel on dallis = level 3.5. So what is the advantage of doing this? Do you get loot and XP for Alexander? And I always kill the Magisters in Fort Joy. You get XP for the Gheists and magisters, but I read somewhere that you will not encounter hammer's pets on the Vengeance then, which I guess evens that out. Apart from Achievements or warm feelings, does that give any advantages?
